Dr. Andrew Nyein is an obstetrician-gynecologist and the founder of Mulberry OBGYN, a women’s health practice providing personalized care from preconception and pregnancy through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.
As the next generation of a family that has cared for women across New York for more than fifty years, Dr. Nyein brings a longstanding legacy of personalized care to a modern and comprehensive approach to women’s health.
In addition to menopause care, Dr. Nyein has advanced expertise in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted gynecologic surgery. This allows him to evaluate and treat abnormal bleeding, fibroids, pelvic pain, endometriosis, and other gynecologic conditions that may overlap with or complicate hormonal changes during midlife.
Dr. Nyein also holds an academic appointment as a Clinical Instructor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine.
Mulberry combines evidence-based hormonal care with comprehensive gynecologic expertise, allowing patients to receive coordinated evaluation and treatment within one practice.
Known for his calm and reassuring presence, Dr. Nyein prioritizes helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident — especially when navigating complex or sensitive decisions. His approach is rooted in osteopathic medicine and shaped by an understanding of how hormones, physical health, emotional well-being, and lifestyle are interconnected. Mulberry OBGYN was created to reflect that philosophy: thoughtful, unhurried, and deeply personal.
